Lark Creek Restaurant Group's annual Dungeness Crab Festival is hard work for our culinary teams. We buy live crabs, cook and clean them, and take special care at each step to protect this delicate local culinary jewel. Sure, it would be easier to buy cooked crabs or picked crabmeat, but it wouldn't taste as good. for our chefs, that hard work is quickly forgotten, but the memory of a great crab dish lingers long after. It's a tradition that's 24 years old and going strong. Hope to see you there!

Beginning Friday, February 1, One Market Restaurant will offer special prix fixe multi-course
menus for lunch ($25) and dinner ($39) that showcase the restaurant’s illustrious 20-year
history in San Francisco. These commemorative menus will feature milestone dishes
from throughout One Market’s two decades of award-winning service.

October 17, 2012 - Cupola Pizzeria Appoints Marc Tennison New Chef
Marc Tennison has been named chef of Cupola Pizzeria, Lark Creek Restaurant Group’s restaurant celebrating Italian cuisine in the Westfield San Francisco Centre.
At Cupola Pizzeria, Tennison offers Neapolitan-style pizza from a handcrafted Stefano Ferrara wood-burning pizza oven imported from Naples, Italy, in addition to salads, housemade pastas, panini and desserts in a fun, fashion-focused atmosphere. Some of the dishes Tennison will add to the menu this fall include Garlic and Bread Soup with onion broth, red kuri squash, and poached egg; Butter Lettuce Salad with French butter pears, toasted walnuts, and gorgonzola; Butternut Squash Ravioli with Amaretti cookies, brown butter, and sage; Kabocha Squash Pizza with hot coppa and smoked mozzarella; Steamed Artichokes with parsley bread crumbs and lemon zabaglione; Bolognese with Handkerchief Pasta and pork, pancetta, dried porcini, sage, and ricotta.

The Tavern at Lark Creek announces “An Evening with Merry Edwards” on October 17, 2012. Celebrated vintner Merry Edwards will lend her wine prowess — and an impressive canon of bottles – to pair wines with a special wild mushroom-centric menu crafted by Chef/Partner Aaron Wright. The six course menu may either be ordered as a prix fixe chef’s menu ($60), or á la carte. Pairings will also be available as a prix fixe program ($55), or by the glass.

Santana Row in San Jose welcomes a new dining destination this summer with the launch of Lark Creek Blue in early August 2012. Featuring ocean-fresh seafood, a selection of USDA Prime and grass-fed steaks and a variety of international dishes inspired by the seasons under the direction of Chef Paul Bruno, the restaurant will offer casual, contemporary design with a circular raw bar, open kitchen and ample covered patio seating, perfect for warm summer days and nights. Lark Creek Restaurant Group announces the opening of Wine & Wall, a destination for wine and art-related experiences and events in San Francisco. Local firm Architecture & Light designed this unique gallery-style environment adjacent to the Group’s Michelin-starred One Market Restaurant. The venue celebrates fine art(painting, photography, sculpture, artifacts) with frequently-changing gallery shows curated by Suzy R. Locke and Associates. Additionally, Wine & Wall serves as a destination wine shop and tasting bar, as well as a private dining venue. Wines are selected for varietal, taste profile and value, all with artistically appealing labels – making the selection a reflection of the ar-centric nature of Wine & Wall both literally and figuratively.

Throughout October, the Lark Creek Restaurant Group celebrates its annual “Pumpkin Festival” offering guests unique dishes showcasing America’s favorite fall squash. A few highlights are listed below.
San Francisco patrons will be offered a variety of delights such as Roasted Guinea Hen with pumpkin, chanterelles and pine nuts created by Chef/Partner Mark Dommen at One Market Restaurant, Confit Diced Pumpkin Pizza with fontina, prosciutto cotto and thyme by Cupola Pizzeria's Chef Christian Hermsdorf and Pan Seared Petrale Sole with brown butter squash puree, kale and roasted shallots created by Chef Ismael Macias for LarkCreekSteak.
In Larkspur, Chef Aaron Wright at The Tavern at Lark Creek will offer Harvest Squash Bisque with pickled wild mushrooms and crispy mint, and Sugar Pie Pumpkin Salad with brandied cherries, frisee, fennel, haricot vert, hazelnuts and goat cheese vinaigrette will be presented by Chef August Schuchman of Yankee Pier Larkspur.
East Bay guests will enjoy Baked Sugar Pumpkin filled with fruited brown rice and candied spiced pecans from Chef/Partner Scott Wall at Lark Creek Walnut Creek, and Chef/Partner Michael Dunn, of Yankee Pier Lafayette will present his Double Cut Pork Chop with roasted kabocha squash, braised escarole, bacon lardons, onions and apple cider glaze.
